Writers' Bar H2SO4, Georgian Chess Federation and publishing house "Intellect" project "Championship among writers in chess" was founded on the initiative of the Writers' Bar.
A tournament was held on October 29-30, 2022, in which the champion writer was identified. The tournament is annual.
The winners were identified by a professional referee appointed by the Chess Federation. The winning trio was awarded by "Intellekti publishing house", the first place winner was also given a special prize of the Writers' Bar.
